Your next client already reads EmEx
Employee Experience Magazine is read by senior HR and employee experience practitioners: the heads of people, EX leads and internal comms directors who bring in outside help when a project needs it. When they need a coach, a facilitator or a change specialist, the directory is where the site sends them.
Be findable
Independents are hard to find at the moment a buyer is looking. Your profile sits in a curated directory organised by discipline and by the problems practitioners are trying to solve.
Borrow the masthead
A profile in an editorial publication reads differently from a social feed or a marketplace. You appear alongside recognised practitioners, in a directory that reviews every listing before it goes live.
Show up where it counts
Listings are tagged to EmEx’s editorial topics, so your profile appears on the topic pages your buyers are already reading, from culture and change to wellbeing and people data.
Your byline in the magazine, included
Every founding member gets the offer of one thought leadership piece during their membership year. Within your first month, our editor, Esther Smith, will be in touch to ask what you would like to write about and to schedule it into the editorial calendar. When it publishes, it runs on emexmag.com, goes out in the newsletter, and links straight to your directory profile.
It is entirely optional and there is no pressure to take it up. If writing is not your thing, your listing stands on its own.
Three steps, live within one working day
Pay by card
Choose the founding expert plan and check out by card. The whole thing is self-serve and takes a couple of minutes.
Build your profile
A guided form walks you through it: headshot, description, discipline, engagement types and website link. You can save and return if you need to.
Go live
We review every listing before it publishes. Yours goes live within one working day, and you can update it whenever you like.
Built for independent practitioners
The expert side of the directory covers the disciplines senior people leaders bring in from outside. Buyers filter by discipline and by how you work: coaching, facilitation, project or interim, advisory, and training or workshops.
What we promise
A founding listing gives you a credible, reviewed profile in front of a senior HR and EX readership, placed in the editorial context where buying decisions start. That is the offer.
We make no claims about lead volume. Directories that promise leads tend to disappoint, and we would rather be straight with you at £99 than overpromise at any price.

Before you ask
What happens after 30 September 2026?
The founding rate closes and the standard expert rate of £149 a year (USD $195) applies to new listings.
How does the thought leadership piece work?
Within your first month, our editor will be in touch to ask what you would like to write about and to schedule it into the editorial calendar. When it publishes, it runs on emexmag.com, goes out in the newsletter, and links to your directory profile. It is optional, there is no deadline pressure, and every piece gets an editorial review so it reads well and serves the audience.
What if my listing isn’t approved?
Every listing gets an editorial check before it goes live. If yours is declined, you receive a full refund. In practice this is rare: the check exists to keep the directory credible for the buyers using it, which is what makes your listing worth having.
Is there a sales call or approval interview?
No. Checkout is by card, the profile form is self-serve, and our review is an editorial check before publishing. You will never be asked to book a call.
How long until my profile is live?
Every listing is reviewed before it publishes. Yours goes live within one working day of you completing your profile.
I work outside the UK. Is this for me?
Yes. EmEx’s readership is concentrated in the UK and the US, and expert listings are priced in both GBP and USD.
