About Creative Health Stories

Creative Health Stories is led by Laura Bailey, who has worked in the creative and heritage sectors for more than 20 years and has focused on creative health specifically since 2013. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a trained mental health first aider.

Alongside producing the Creative Health Stories podcast, which explores why art, culture, nature and design matter to public health through conversations with health professionals, artists, academics and people with lived experience, Laura Bailey has set up a Community Interest Company to extend this work into creative workplace wellbeing programmes.

This strand focuses on NHS staff and people working in voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations, using creative approaches to support staff wellbeing in sectors that carry a high risk of burnout and where traditional wellbeing initiatives are not always well suited to the way people work.
