PayWise+

PayWise+ is a financial wellbeing platform from The Access Group, built on top of the company's earlier Access EarlyPay product, and it combines earned wage access with savings and money-management tools.

Employees can draw down a portion of wages they have already earned before payday, see their pay accumulate in real time, and set money aside directly from earned wages into a savings account rather than waiting for a bank transfer on payday. An AI assistant within the app, called Penny, gives employees personalised guidance on managing their pay and savings.

For employers, the platform is positioned as a way to support staff through cost-of-living pressures without changing salary structures, with the company's own research reporting improved staff loyalty and a reduction in turnover among employees who use earned wage access.

PayWise+ is aimed particularly at sectors with high proportions of hourly paid staff, such as care and hospitality, and is generally adopted as an employee benefit integrated with a company's existing payroll system rather than a standalone consumer app.
