People Lab is an employee engagement and experience consultancy founded by Emma Bridger, working across insight, strategy and delivery. Projects typically start with research into where an organisation stands on employee experience and engagement, move into a strategy and action plan for what to change, and then into science-backed solutions covering culture, communication and performance.

Recent client work has included developing an employee experience strategy with DNV, using behaviour-based personas to improve internal communication at NATS, and building a team of employee experience advocates at Starbucks. People Lab also runs training through its EX and EE masterclasses, contributes research and free tools on employee experience, and publishes books through Emma Bridger, including Employee Engagement, EX by Design and, with Lee Smith, People-First Internal Communication.

The company also runs The EX Space, a learning community for employee experience and engagement professionals offering webinars, clinics and resources. Work is typically commissioned as a strategy or insight project, an ongoing consultancy engagement, or a training booking, depending on what stage an organisation is at.
