About Piece by Jackson

I started Piece by Jackson back in 2018 while I was on Maternity leave with my eldest son. I was looking for something creative to sink my teeth into as I was drowning in a sea of dirty nappies and felt like I’d totally lost my identity. I spent the long nights scrolling through Pinterest and discovered furniture made from copper pipe- I had a few bits of pipe and the tools I needed left over from a plumbing project so I thought I’d give it a go!

I started by making copper and tile side tables for a few friends which were very well received, so I was talked into setting up an Etsy shop to sell my creations. My initial plan was to use eco-resin solely to create bespoke tiles for my tables and plant stands, but it wasn’t long before I was utterly hooked on the versatility of the material and expanded my range into homewares and gifts.

I shared a lot of the creative process on social media and lots of people commented how they’d like to have a go, so now I run workshops across Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and The Cotswolds. It’s so fun and rewarding to get friends and loved ones together for a night out or afternoon away from the bustle of life and take some time out to craft and reconnect.
