Founded in 2009 by professional dancer Katie Geddes, the studio brings a team of freelance teachers and dozens of styles, from line dancing to Bollywood, to your workplace or to its own converted mill studio in Leeds.
The Dance Studio Leeds opened in 2009 in a converted textile mill at Mabgate Mills, about a 10-minute walk from Leeds city centre. It was founded by Katie Geddes, a trained professional dancer and teacher, who leads a team of freelance dance teachers. The studio welcomes people of all abilities and aims to be relaxed, friendly and inclusive.
For businesses and organisations, the team runs dance-based team building across Leeds and Yorkshire, at your workplace or venue or at the studio. Sessions are tailored to your goals, group size and timings, with styles including line dancing, Strictly-style ballroom, street dance, Charleston, Afrofusion, Bollywood, salsa and decade themes.
The studio has won Prestige Awards for Service Excellence and has raised over £16,000 for charities through its Celebration of Dance showcases.
