About The Garden Classroom (TGC)
The Garden Classroom is an award-winning Islington-based charity that has spent 17 years bringing nature connection experiences to urban communities — working with schools, families and older people.
Our corporate experiences grew out of that expertise. We offer open-fire cooking, forest school skills, gardening and fire craft sessions in North London’s green spaces, all led by our specialist facilitators. Every booking makes a financial contribution to our charitable programmes supporting disadvantaged people in Islington and Hackney.
We have worked with Sainsbury’s, Pinsent Masons, Intact Insurance, Gallagher and Dr Martens to name a few. Four experiences to choose from: Get Greening, Cooking Together, Forest School Skills Taster Day, and Fire Craft. Group sizes from 10–20 depending on the session; pricing starts at £500 for a half-day gardening session up to £2,000 for a full-day fire craft or cooking together.
Venues across North London: Newington Green, Market Rd Gardens, King Henry's Walk Garden, Whittington Park, Gillespie Park Nature Reserve. Sessions can be tailored to weave in specific team objectives or CSR/communications goals. Every booking comes with social media posts, on-the-day photography, a tailored CSR impact report and acknowledgement in TGC's annual Impact Report — useful for internal comms and ESG reporting.
