Gartner HR Symposium/Xpo 2027, Orlando

Gartner HR Symposium/Xpo is Gartner’s flagship conference for CHROs and senior HR leaders in North America, and the 2027 edition runs October 25 to 27 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts in Orlando.

Who it is for

CHROs and HR executives, and the senior talent, change and employee experience leaders who work with them. Gartner says more than 4,000 CHROs and HR leaders attend, alongside 60+ solution providers.

Why go

Sessions draw on Gartner research and are led by its analysts, of whom more than 50 are involved. The focus is the new human-AI workforce, foundations for performance and shifting skills requirements. Last year’s topics included AI adoption and literacy, AI in HR and AI’s impact on the workforce. The format covers keynotes, workshops, roundtables and Meetups, private 30-minute one-on-one meetings with analysts for paid full-conference attendees, an Exhibit Showcase and an HR Xpo for demos. An application-only CHRO Circle program runs for chief HR officers. Continuing professional education credits are offered for select sessions. Speakers for 2027 have not been announced.

Tickets and prices

The early bird price is $5,325 and ends on August 27, 2027. The standard price is $5,975, and the public sector price is $4,550 with proof of status. Gartner clients can ask their account manager about special pricing. Groups from the same organization get up to four complimentary registrations once the paid registrations have been paid in full. Time-based offers such as early bird still apply, but other group promotions void the group discount.

Is it worth going?

At nearly $6,000 for the standard price, this is one of the most expensive conferences in the HR calendar, so the case rests on the research and the analyst time. It is worth it for a CHRO or senior HR leader who needs benchmarks to take to the board, a clear view of how peers are handling AI in HR, and a private session with an analyst on a live problem. The CHRO Circle adds a peer group for chief HR officers. It is a harder sell for practitioners and for employee experience or comms leaders below the senior HR team, who can find more hands-on content at cheaper events. Gartner clients who already use analyst inquiry get less new value.

Good to know

Dates are October 25 to 27, 2027, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, 1500 Epcot Resorts Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Orlando International Airport is less than 30 minutes from the resort. For the 2026 edition, Gartner listed partner hotels with a conference shuttle, including the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando, and asked attendees to contact hotels directly. Gartner has not mentioned a virtual option.
