About The Crafty Hen
The Crafty Hen runs creative team-building workshops delivered nationwide, in person or virtually, using crafts such as sewing and textiles, jewellery making, paper crafts and ceramic painting.
Sessions are led by professional craftspeople and designed to suit all abilities, ages and group sizes, giving teams a chance to think differently and work with their hands rather than sit through a conventional training day.
Popular formats include fabric painting, ceramic painting, wreath and jewellery workshops, bunting making and bespoke sessions built around a team's particular interests, and for remote teams, materials can be posted out in advance so everyone can join a virtual session together.
Each participant typically takes home something they have made, or the group works on a shared piece for the office. It suits HR and events teams looking for a hands-on, relaxed team activity for an away day, wellbeing session or Christmas party, rather than a more traditional team-building exercise.
