Choirworks is run by Eliza Fyfe, a vocal coach, choir director and music arranger based in Bristol, who designs corporate singing workshops for workplace teams.
Sessions combine icebreaker games and vocal warm-ups with learning one or more songs by ear from a chosen repertoire, building towards a short performance or recording for colleagues at the end of the workshop.
Formats range from a one-hour lunchtime session and a two-hour team-building workshop through to a twelve-week programme, in which teams learn and perfect three songs over consecutive weekly sessions, supported by lyric sheets and audio parts to practise from at home.
Workshops are aimed at teams wanting to build morale, encourage bonding and give colleagues a shared, low-pressure creative activity, and have included sessions for groups such as UK healthcare leaders.
