Mothworks is the corporate storytelling arm of The Moth, the nonprofit known for its live and broadcast true-story events, and it uses the same storytelling craft to help workplaces communicate more effectively.
Offerings include workshops teaching actionable storytelling principles, curated live storytelling events or keynotes built around a company's own voice and values, and one-to-one story development support for people preparing a presentation, speech or talk. Sessions are run for groups ranging from small teams up to conferences of 500 or more people, for organisations spanning small local groups through to large multinational corporations, and Mothworks travels globally as well as offering virtual formats.
Past clients named on the company's site include the Kellogg Foundation and the Malala Fund, alongside coverage of work with Yale School of Medicine. Work is generally commissioned as a bespoke workshop, keynote or coaching engagement built around a specific team, leadership group or event, rather than a fixed off-the-shelf course, and enquiries go through a direct conversation with the Mothworks team rather than a self-service booking.
