The Maydays is a Brighton-based improv theatre company that also runs business improv training, drawing on more than 15 years of experience delivering workshops for organisations across sectors including aerospace, finance, consulting, government, pharmaceuticals, charities, education and hospitality.
Training sessions use improvisation exercises, listening, building on what colleagues offer, and thinking on your feet, to help teams shift how they think, communicate and collaborate under pressure, run for groups of roughly 8 to 24 people and deliverable in person or online.
Alongside training, the company performs its own improvised comedy and musical shows, including its long-running production Happily Never After, and can bring elements of live performance into corporate events as well as straightforward skills workshops.
It suits organisations wanting an experiential alternative to conventional communication or team-building training, or a livelier addition to an offsite or conference, delivered by trainers with a background in professional performance rather than generic corporate facilitation.
